Parker’s research is predicated on modeling mechanical ventilation modalities through software-controlled systems to better understand the correlation between ventilation and lung tissue mechanics. Parker’s interests include anatomical modeling, fluid mechanics, data acquisition, and biomechanics. In the future, Parker plans on entering the medical device industry in hopes of developing devices to aid in the quality and longevity of lives.
